This comfortable house with its beautiful lattice fence and stained
brown cedar color will sit nicely on the deck or balcony of your home.
The steps along the side of the house lead to a roof-top balcony where
your pet can sun-bathe and play.
The Room with a View Pet House is an indoor/outdoor structure specially designed for smaller animals in your home. Constructed of kiln-dried wood treated with natural color stains to enhance its appearance and durability, the lower lounge area has a raised bottom to keep pets dry and features steps along the side of the house that lead to a rooftop balcony where your pet can sun-bathe and play. The construction is lightweight, easy to handle and has a calming, natural scent. The pet house includes simple instructions, with easily assembled, knock-down panels and a removable roof top for easy cleaning.
I have had this pet house for
four-and-a-half years and it is still going strong. It is great for
relatively small dogs, I'd say up to 15-20 lbs. I put a square dog bed
with bolster sides on top to make it comfy, and my two chihuahuas, 7 lbs
and 4 lbs, are usually up there together enjoying each other company.
There's plenty of room for both. They can both easily climb the steps
and get into the bed.
The house is next to the main front window in my house, and my dogs use the top deck as a lookout perch. It is absolutely their favorite place -- if I'm looking for them in the house that's the first place I check. They watch the bikers, dog walkers, cats, etc. go by and bark at them. Great entertainment for them (even if a little loud for me.) Neither one of them likes to stay in the little room underneath (although sometimes the littlest one hides in it when she knows she's been bad), but it is perfect for storing dog toys. Just toss them through the large door and voila, everything is picked up. My dogs know where their toys are and readily go into the little room to get them.
The house was easy to assemble and it is very sturdy. It's also lightweight, so it's easy to move around if necessary. The stairs are worn now (mainly the top two), but that's to be expected after 4+ years of constant use, and the appearance of the steps isn't really objectionable. The wear merely represents how much use the steps get.
I would absolutely recommend this pet house to a friend. It was a tad expensive, but it has proved to be the best purchase I've ever made for my small dogs.

This product is terrible. It looks pretty in the picture, but It is made of a very thin, cheap wood, that my puppy ate before I even had a chance to finish putting it together. Also it may be okay for a cat, but even a small dog really does not fit in it. The staiirs are totally useless even for a 4 lb puppy. I would have returned it, if my dog had not damaged it almost straight out of the box. I do not think this house will last as it is very flimsy and falls apart if you attempt to move it from one location to another I do not recommend this product. I wasted my money on it.
